Specifically, the site is about the remains of streets and houses belonging to the sixteenth century which were found in 1995 in a place known as the Huerta de Rufino.

The structures Found at the time, they had been kept in good condition and, therefore, they were covered with earth to start building the public library and not damage them at the same time.

The purposes that are intended to be achieved with this proposal are above all educational, cultural and heritage enrichment of Ceuta.

The fact that they are well preserved increases their value, since, in this way, visitors will be able to see with great realism what the buildings of the city were like six centuries ago.

The library, the work of the architects Ángela García de Paredes and Ignacio Pedrosa, it will open once the announced works have been carried out, for which a budget of 26,000 euros has been granted.

I was born in Madrid on August 27, 1988 and since then I started a work of which there is no example. Fascinated by both numbers and letters and a lover of the unknown, that is why I am a future graduate in Economics and Journalism, interested in understanding life and the forces that have shaped it. Everything is easier, more useful and more exciting if, with a look at our past, we can improve our future and for that… History.
